Jaime Walkowiak

Jaime Walkowiak is an accomplished professional serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Baylor Research Institute and the Senior Vice President of Research for Baylor Scott & White Health.

With a strong background in legal and research fields, Jaime oversees the research infrastructure of the healthcare system, integrating research into all service lines, facilitating new and existing research programs, and expanding collaborations.

Jaime also leads the development of industry and business relations for research through partnerships, business ventures, licensing, and other related opportunities.

Having joined Baylor in 2007 as Assistant General Counsel, Jaime has a rich experience that includes legal and research roles in Dallas and Boston.

Before joining Baylor, Jaime was involved in clinical research and project management at esteemed institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.

Jaime Walkowiak holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Suffolk University and a JD from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.

With a history of key roles like Vice President of Research Operations and Business Development, Assistant General Counsel, and Associate General Counsel at Baylor Health Care System, Jaime brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the healthcare and research domains.
