Key leader in successful turnaround, stabilization, and continued growth large scale healthcare operations of DaVita. Drove complex projects across multiple markets, creating and implementing DaVita Medical Group Population Health Services for external clients, internal markets, new practice acquisitions, and a joint venture start-up with Centura Health. 
•	Managed and mentored teams in coordination of care, population health, value-based care and change management with a clear focus on quality metrics, outcomes, and impact.
•	Directly accountable for individual project success including initiation, management of scope, implementation, integration, budgeting, staffing, risk adjustment and management, communications, key performance indicators, vendors, training, transition back to local owners, and overall program execution.
•	Coordinated with several members of a leadership team driving a $26 million project for a 2,578-bed hospital system in Maryland. Introducing population health initiatives reduced the average length of stay and avoidable readmissions, along with improving processes for transitions of care and introducing best practices. Achieved cost-savings of $26M over 28-months.
•	Established all operational structures, and developed processes and procedures for the launch of a nationwide Comprehensive Health Assessment Program.

DaVita Medical Group

National Director/ Interim NV Market Vice-President

Directed service-line business and clinical operations, including the department’s day-to-day operations, and financial management. Accountable for the Department of Surgery at Level 1 Trauma Center and safety net hospital with 525 beds and department financial operations totaling over $51M and 64 FTEs.
•	Operational oversight for General and Trauma Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Breast Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.
•	Responsible for strategic planning, human resources, recruiting, financial reporting, benchmark goals, contract administration with affiliated critical access hospitals and corporations, facility planning, policy development, internal communications, marketing, team building, and Lean leadership.
•	Oversight and accountability for multiple research projects and grants.

Denver Health

Administrative Director, Department of Surgery and Trauma Services

Designed and administered a new community relations program that connected the University of Colorado Denver with local businesses.  
• Successfully presented the plan to University administration and received funding and resource support during a time when many programs were eliminated.  
• Supervised all phases of operations including community outreach, sales strategy, communication, marketing, website development, and client management.

UniverCity Key Coordinator

Worked directly with CEO to streamline and oversee the operations of multiple start-up companies funded by LMA Hughes.  
• Responsibilities included strategic planning, fiscal management, project supervision, coordination of day-to-day operations, maintaining numerous business accounts, preparation of multi-million-dollar budgets along with monthly, quarterly, annual reports.  
• Managed 12 contractors and their respective on-going projects. Projects included capital raising efforts, international oil and gas development, legal proceedings, and property management.

LMA Hughes

Business Manager

Co-managed with administration a $12M budget and healthcare facility providing patient care to over 30K students, faculty, and staff. 
• Restructured the operations of the healthcare facility resulting in a $2M cost reduction, and created a technologically advanced, efficient, self-sustaining organization.  
• Planned and organized community events such as health fairs, 5k Fun Runs, and informational presentations to build awareness and raise funds to provide care for indigent patients.
