Jacqui Vicario is a seasoned communications professional with over 15 years of experience in print media, publishing, and the Arts.
Starting as a newspaper photography cadet, Jacqui has since worked across various Australian mastheads, demonstrating a passion for photojournalism.
Noteworthy highlights of Jacqui's career include managing the Reportage Festival in Sydney for more than a decade and curating the exhibition 'Annie Leibovitz, A Photographer’s Life: 1995 – 2000' at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney.
Her experiences also extend internationally, having worked for screenwriter Tom Hedley Jr. at Duckworth Entertainments in London and undertaking a photo reportage of Bollywood published in Marie Claire Australia.
Jacqui Vicario's enthusiasm for cinema led her to spend time on the set of 'Carne Trémula' with renowned director Pedro Almodovar and his production company El Deseo.
Currently, Jacqui focuses on producing communications and photography on a consultancy basis while nurturing a side-hustle in children's textiles design.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from UNSW Australia and has held various roles including Photo Editor at Fairfax Media, Festival Manager at Reportage Festival, Senior Photo Editor at Ink Global Singapore, and Photo Editor at News Corp Australia's Sunday Magazine.
