    Having graduated from Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal in 1979 with a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering at a young age of 20, Jacques initiated his career by establishing the Montreal Industrial Innovation Center, the first of its kind in Canada. Subsequently, he co-founded and led companies like BGH Planning and OMVPE Technologies.

    From 1987 to 2002, Jacques acted as the co-founder and President of Téléport de Montréal, a pioneering venture that integrated telecommunication, real estate, and incubator services, effectively blending telecommunications, information technologies, and multimedia offerings. This innovative business was eventually acquired by Bell Canada Enterprise Globemedia.

    Transitioning to the Solidarity Fund FTQ in 2004, Jacques served as the Senior Vice President of Information Technologies, Telecommunications, and Industrial Innovations before becoming the founder and managing partner of Teralys Capital, a prominent technology Fund of Funds.
