Jacqueline Valenzuela

Jacqueline Valenzuela is a seasoned professional with a strong background in strategic planning, communications, and workforce development & training.

With over a decade of experience in a senior leadership role at one of the largest local government agencies in the nation, she has demonstrated success in planning, implementing, and managing programs and communications strategies.

Jacqueline is known for her expertise in developing and sustaining relationships with community partners and for her proficiency in Spanish language.

She holds a BA in English and Women's Studies, graduating Cum Laude from California State University, Northridge, and an MPH in Health Promotion from the University of Southern California.

Throughout her career, Jacqueline has held various key positions such as Chief Advisor to the County Health Officer, Senior Advisor to the Director, Special Assistant To The Director, and Director of Health Education Administration at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

She has also been involved in academia, serving as Adjunct Faculty at Occidental College and Part-Time Faculty at several universities including California State University, Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Charles R. Drew University, College of Science and Health.

Jacqueline's diverse experience includes roles such as Manager of Marketing and Communications at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, and Bilingual Teacher's Aide at LAUSD.
