Jacob Taylor

Jacob Taylor is the Founder of XRA, a San Diego-based XR startup.1 He has been in this role since May 2021.1 Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from San Diego State University, which he completed in 2017.1

Prior to founding XRA, Taylor gained experience in various roles:

1. Summer Administrative Assistant at Archbishop Riordan High School (2014-2018)1
2. Volunteer Track and Field Coach at Archbishop Riordan High School (2016-2017)1

Taylor has also received several honors and awards for his entrepreneurial efforts:

• Lavin Seed Fund from the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center in September 20211
• Aztec Cooperative Fund from ZIP Launchpad in October 20211
• Convergence Medalist from Startup San Diego in April 2022 for the San Diego Intercollegiate Pitch Competition1

As the founder of XRA, Taylor is likely involved in the development and promotion of XR (extended reality) technologies, which include virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality.2
