Jacob Staley

Jacob Staley is a dedicated professional with a specialization in AI from conception to realization, multi-disciplinary R&D, project leadership, and deep-tech startups.

He holds a Ph.D. in Photonics from the University of Twente, an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering focused on product development from The University of Kansas, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas.

Jacob has a rich work history including roles as Founder at a Stealth Startup, Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First, and Entrepreneur In Residence at TandemLaunch Inc.

He has also served as a Scientific Researcher and Project Engineer at the Internet Technology and Data Science Lab - IDLab, Co-Founder at Kraken Concepts, Product Owner at Cleoo, and Project Leader at EPFL for the Engineered Platform for Diagnosing and Treating Deafness.

Earlier in his career, Jacob was a PhD Candidate at MIRA's Biomedical Photonics Imaging Group, worked as a Software Engineer at Novtech, and was a Research Assistant at the Bioengineering Research Center.
