Jacob Puthenparambil

Jacob Puthenparambil, a veteran communication strategist, marketer, investor, and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience, has achieved several successful milestones in his career. Having worked with government agencies in advising communication strategies, Jacob has gained extensive knowledge in editorial management and corporate communications. Afterward, Jacob joined Burson-Marsteller Middle East, where he advised top clients such as LG, American Express, HP, and other prominent brands. After resigning, he started investing in start-ups based in Southeast Asia, including DealStreetAsia.com, The Kochi Post, and MetroResidences.com among others, all of which he was the first investor. He co-founded REDHILL, the largest independent public relations and affairs agency, advising the most active and largest venture capitalists in the region.

Jacob holds a BSc Honors in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a master's degree in Communications at Middlesex University, London. Moreover, he holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and Communications from Technische Universität Dresden / TU Dresden, Germany, and Masters in Communication from National University of Singapore, Singapore. He is a certified Singapore Expert Management Consultant, accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) UK, and on the board of several non-profit organizations, including AmCham Singapore and Entrepreneurs Organization (EO).
