Jackton Downard

Jackton Downard is the Vice President of Finance at the Himalayan Cataract Project (also known as Cure Blindness Project), an international non-profit organization working to eradicate avoidable blindness in under-resourced areas of the world.12 He has been in this role since June 2019.1

With over 15 years of experience, Downard is a results-driven executive specializing in operational efficiency and strategic growth.1 His expertise spans finance, operations, sales, marketing, and international distribution.1 At the Himalayan Cataract Project, he leads financial strategy and oversees Accounting, FP&A, and Treasury functions, while also reporting to the Board of Directors.1

Downard holds a BS in Biology from the University of Oregon and an MBA in Sustainable Business from Pinchot University / Bainbridge Graduate Institute.12 He currently resides in the Upper Valley region of the Connecticut River and works out of the organization's operations office in Norwich, VT.2
