    Professor Jackie Oldham, the esteemed founder Director of Manchester: Improving Medicine with Innovation and Technology (MIMIT), is a passionate advocate for driving innovation to address unmet health and social care needs. Additionally, she serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Health Innovation Manchester and Manchester's Oxford Road Corridor, Manchester's Innovation District. Notably, in 2018, she took on the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees at St Ann Hospice in Greater Manchester and also acts as a Manchester Global Ambassador. Jackie's educational background includes a PhD in musculoskeletal physiology and she is renowned for founding the Centre for Rehabilitation Science at the University of Manchester. Her vast experience extends to being an invited member on various National committees such as the NHS Secretary of State’s Advisory Panel for NHS Challenge Prizes and the Medical Research Council Translational Research and Stratified Medicine Steering Groups. Jackie is dedicated to fostering innovation to meet healthcare needs, crafting innovation frameworks, and aiding organizations in delivering needs-driven innovation.
