Jackie Bello

Jackie Bello is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Dent Education, an organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth through educational initiatives. She co-founded Dent Education in January 2017 alongside Rajan Patel, aiming to address systemic inequities in education by providing innovative afterschool programs that focus on design thinking and problem-solving skills for students in Baltimore.23

In addition to her role at Dent Education, Bello has a background in educational initiatives and community engagement. She has been involved with Baltimore Corps, where she works on developing programs that serve various stakeholders within the community.1 Bello's commitment to social innovation is also reflected in her previous experiences, including her time with Teach for America and her recognition as a Baltimore Community Fellow by the Open Society Institute.3
