Jack Vernamonti
Surgery Resident
Jack Vernamonti is a General Surgery Resident, currently gaining experience at Maine Medical Center. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2017 after completing his undergraduate BA in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry at Colby College. During his academic journey, Jack engaged in diverse research activities, including HIV research and Assisted Reproduction under Dr. Ann Kiessling at Bedford Research Foundation. Additionally, he independently conducted Organic Chemistry research under Professor Jeffery Katz at Colby College, resulting in a publication in the European Journal of Organic Chemistry. Jack has a strong educational background covering General and Organic Chemistry, Genetics, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology. He has accrued practical experience in both local and international healthcare settings, predominantly in surgical and emergency departments.
