Jack Schorsch

Jack Schorsch is a well-accomplished R&D engineering specialist that believes in utilizing technology to solve real-world problems. With 13 years of experience, Jack has dedicated his career to developing new and innovative solutions in areas such as human-machine interaction, medical device compliance, mechanical & electrical systems, and electromechanical product design. Jack is currently working on completing his PhD in Biomechanical Engineering at Delft University of Technology while launching a new spin-off company, Innovative Mechatronic Systems. Jack is best known for his involvement in developing the revolutionary Archimedes Drive, which aims to overturn the traditional gearbox world. Prior to joining the team at Delft, Jack was the project lead for one of the most promising human-machine interfaces, the IMES implantable myoelectric sensor as part of the DARPA Revolutionizing Prosthetics project. Jack is skilled in human-robot interaction, actuator design, medical implant design, and regulatory compliance.
