Jack Hidary

Jack Hidary is the Chief Executive Officer of SandboxAQ, a company that specializes in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with quantum technology. Born in 1967 or 1968, he has a rich background as a serial entrepreneur and has co-founded several successful tech companies, including EarthWeb, which later became known as Dice Inc. under his leadership. This company went public in 1998, achieving one of the largest first-day returns in NASDAQ history.12

Hidary's academic credentials include studying neuroscience at Columbia University and receiving a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where he worked on functional brain imaging and neural networks.13 He has also authored the book Quantum Computing: An Applied Approach, now in its second edition, which reflects his extensive knowledge in AI and quantum technologies.14

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Hidary has been involved in various social initiatives. He helped draft the Cash for Clunkers program and has served on boards such as the X Prize Foundation, which promotes innovation in various fields.12 His foundation, The Hidary Foundation, focuses on medical oncology research and has supported institutions like Sloan Kettering and UCSF.23

Under his leadership, SandboxAQ has secured significant funding and government contracts for its quantum-resistant cybersecurity solutions and has launched initiatives aimed at advancing drug discovery through molecular simulation.14
