Shannon Gatlin

J. Shannon Gatlin is a seasoned labor and employment attorney with a focus on advising businesses on compliance with various state and federal employment laws.

He has a strong background in developing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, drafting policies to mitigate risks, and conducting employee training to prevent discriminatory practices.

With a family background in retail business, Shannon values the importance of a strong workforce and strives to anticipate and address clients' unique issues proactively.

Based in Houston, Shannon has been an Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law, teaching a course on employment contracts that he developed, and contributes to the Houston Bar Association's Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee.

His educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
