Izhar Medalsy is an accomplished technology executive and entrepreneur with a rich background spanning over 15 years, focusing on research, product development, and commercialization of cutting-edge technologies.

His experience includes successfully leading cross-functional research and engineering teams through the entire project lifecycle, from conception to market launch.

Izhar excels in crafting technology strategies, driving new product innovations, securing intellectual property rights, and navigating the intricacies of fundraising and mergers & acquisitions.

With a strong passion for innovation, Izhar is dedicated to transforming visionary concepts into tangible solutions.

He holds a Post-Doc in Biophysics from ETH Zürich, a PhD in Physical Chemistry, an MSc in Physical Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a BSc Cum Laude in Biology and Psychology from Bar-Ilan University.

Throughout his career, Izhar has held key roles such as Chief Technology Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Product Officer at NEXA3D, demonstrating his prowess in leadership and strategic decision-making.

Prior to his tenure at NEXA3D, he contributed significantly as Director of Business Development and Product Management at Wyatt Technology, Product Manager at Bruker Nano Surfaces, and as a Staff Scientist and Technology Development Program Manager at Bruker Nano Surfaces.

His academic journey includes research positions at ETH Zurich, D-BSSE Basel, and the Hebrew University, where he pursued his Post-Doc and PhD, respectively, showcasing his deep expertise in research and academia.
