Iyad Tarazi is a seasoned CEO with significant experience in leading and commercializing next-gen cloud-native SaaS technologies. With an impressive track record of building high-performing teams, developing innovative products, fostering strategic partnerships, and fundraising, Tarazi has cemented himself as an industry expert in R&D, technology integration, spectrum, wireless radio, transport, applications, and subscriber devices. Tarazi has spearheaded large marketing alliances with Google, Qualcomm, Intel, Ericsson, Nokia, and several other companies, demonstrating a keen understanding of industry trends and the ability to manage media forums, public policy agencies, and financial analysts.
Tarazi's fiscal management responsibility of over hundreds of millions in annual investments, deployment of more than $10 billion in assets, and organization of large teams of more than 800 engineers (as well as small start-up teams) attest to his strong leadership skills and business acumen. He has led and executed large mergers, including the integration of Sprint with Clearwire and Softbank, and has demonstrated business transformation and process development skills.
Tarazi studied Telecommunications Systems Management and Financial Analysis at Southern Methodist University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park. He currently serves as the President, CEO, and Co-Founder of Federated Wireless and was formerly a Board Director at CafeX Communications and ThruPoint as well as VP, Network Technology Development and Integration at Sprint, VP, Network Engineering and Technology Integration at Nextel, and Senior Manager, Network Planning at MCI Communications.
