Iva Townsend

Iva Townsend is a driven and innovative Human Resources professional with over 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles, specializing in policy development, employee relations, and HR strategic planning.

Her expertise includes areas such as payroll processing, benefits administration, performance management, crisis management, policy development, training, recruitment, diversity, equity & inclusion, HR compliance, and strategic HR planning.

Originally from Chicago, Iva Townsend studied Biology and History at the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating with a B.A. degree in 1997.

Since 2000, she has been an integral part of the senior management team at Big Red F Restaurant Group, holding various positions such as Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager, Training Manager, and currently serving as the Human Resources Director.

She has been involved in opening teams for multiple restaurants within the group and has represented Jax Fish House at the James Beard House in New York City.

Living in North Boulder with her family, Iva Townsend enjoys sports, travel, skiing, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.
