Ishita Singh is a dedicated third-year student majoring in Economics and Finance at Ashoka University. Alongside her academic pursuits, she has a keen interest in photography and writing. A passionate advocate for women empowerment, human rights, and tackling inequality, Ishita is also an ardent reader. Her educational journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Delhi University, Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Ashoka University, and a Commerce background from The Aryan International School, Varanasi. Throughout her schooling from institutions like Delhi Public School in Kanpur and St. Joseph’s High School in Siliguri, Ishita has garnered a diverse skill set and a broad perspective. Not confined to academics, Ishita has engaged with various organizations, serving as the founder of Angry Brown Gal. She has also contributed as an author at Her Campus Media and volunteered with WWF. Her professional experience extends to being a former Summer Intern at the Ministry of Rural Development and a Visit Reporter for the same organization. Additionally, she has represented Indian Institute of Management Bangalore as a Campus Ambassador and held a position as a Core Team Member (Hospitality) at the Ashoka Literature Fest.
