Isabel Guerrero
Director IMAGO Global Grassroots, Teacher at Kennedy School, Member of UN High Level Panel on Digital Cooperation
Isabel Guerrero is an economist and lecturer at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) with extensive experience in international development.12 She has been teaching a course on "Scaling Up and Systems Change for Development Impact" at HKS since 2014.13 Guerrero is also a research fellow at the Harvard Center for International Development.1
Prior to her academic career, Guerrero had a long and distinguished career at the World Bank, culminating in her role as Vice President for South Asia from 2008 to 2013, where she managed a portfolio of $39 billion.12 She also served as Country Director for various Latin American countries and India.2
In 2013, Guerrero co-founded IMAGO Global Grassroots, a non-profit organization that helps grassroots organizations worldwide scale their impact.12 She is currently the director of this organization.1
Guerrero's educational background includes:
