Isabel Garcia is a dedicated professional with a strong background in public policy and a focus on promoting equitable investment in marginalized communities through innovative procurement strategies.

As a Project Leader at the HKS Government Performance Lab, Isabel is committed to assisting public sector leaders in transforming procurement practices to be more efficient, fair, and results-driven, with an emphasis on equity and strategic impact.

She holds a Master in Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard Kennedy School, where she developed a unique skill set combining qualitative and quantitative analysis to ensure that data-driven interventions prioritize people's needs and well-being.

During her time at the Boston Mayor's Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion, Isabel played a key role in managing the implementation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to support the recovery of women- and minority-owned small businesses in the wake of the pandemic.

Isabel's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Social Policy, International Studies, and Global Health from Northwestern University, where she graduated Cum Laude. She also studied Global Health at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Political Science at Universitat de Barcelona.

Her professional experience spans various impactful roles, including positions at organizations like the Mayor's Office of Economic Development in the City of Boston, Aprender con Interés A.C., Health & Medicine Policy Research Group, Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace under the Office of Governor Pat Quinn, and as a Counselor at Camp North Star.
