Irina Alexeeva, Deputy Director at The Russian SME Resource Centre

Irina Alexeeva has been the Deputy Director of The Russian SME Resource Centre since June 2005.13 In this role, she conducts research and analysis on private sector development, business climate, and SME finance. She supports international cooperation, policy advice, and evaluation of projects and programs.1

Prior to her current position, Alexeeva held various roles14:

• Producer and General Manager at the B2B Art-Project "Moscow-Jurmala, then - everywhere!" (2015-2017)
• Subcontractor for EIM/The Netherlands on economic studies in support of SME policy (2010-2011)
• Country Officer/Consultant at The World Bank Moscow Office (2003-2005)
• Manager of PR and external communications at The Russian SME Resource Centre (1998-2003)
• Business Events Manager at Deloitte (1995-1998)
• Interpreter/translator at the Institute of Crystallography, Russian Academy of Sciences (1980-1995)

Alexeeva holds an MA equivalent degree in Foreign Languages, Literature, and Linguistics from Moscow State Linguistic University.1 She is fluent in Russian, English, and French.1
