Irene Voskamp is a seasoned leader with a wealth of experience in creating cutting-edge technology products across a diverse range of industries. With a background in cognitive psychology, she has spent her career building teams and leading programs that have helped customers achieve their goals, from national security/intelligence to finance and e-commerce. In her current role as Manager of AWS Government Cloud Programs and Engineering at Amazon Web Services (AWS), she is bringing the power of the AWS cloud to governments and regulated industries around the world. Irene is known for her perpetual curiosity, collaborative approach, and effectiveness in high-performance, high-velocity organizations of all sizes and styles. Her experience includes managing diverse teams, building operational analysis centers, managing customer and partner relationships, and developing decision support architectures and analysis systems to minimize privacy, security, compliance, and legal exposures. Irene holds a Certified Scrummaster certification and has a Master's degree in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
