Ira Chan

Ira Chan is a professional with a diverse educational background and a wide range of experiences in the field of product merchandising, marketing, and e-commerce.

Ira completed their High School education with an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma from South Island School. They further pursued their academic interests by studying Sociology with Social Psychology for their Bachelor's Degree at the University of York.

In addition to their formal education, Ira also undertook a short course in Fashion Design and Marketing at the University of the Arts London, showcasing a keen interest in the intersection of fashion and business.

Ira's professional journey began at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP, where they served as a Product Merchandiser. Prior to this role, Ira held the position of Assistant Product Merchandiser within the same organization, demonstrating growth and expertise in the field.

Prior to their time at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP, Ira gained valuable experience at Style.com, starting as an Online Trading Assistant and progressing to roles such as Ecommerce Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Assistant.

Before entering the fashion and e-commerce industry, Ira honed their marketing skills through various internships at Mail Newspapers, where they served as a Marketing Intern in different capacities, including Operations Executive and focusing on e-commerce for Mail Travel.

Furthermore, Ira has broadened their professional horizon through summer internships at prestigious companies like LVMH and Jardine Matheson Holdings, gaining exposure to different sectors and building a versatile skill set.
