Inna Popov
Head of the Unit for Nanoscopic Characterization, the Hebrew University Nanocenter
Inna Popov is a materials scientist with a strong educational background and extensive experience in nanocharacterization.
She obtained her PhD in Solid State Physics with Cum Laude honors from the Donetsk Physics&Engineering Institute of the National Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Physical Metallurgy from Donetsk National Polytechnic University.
Her educational journey began with high school where she studied a variety of subjects including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Languages, and Literature at #37 Yenakievo in the Donetsk Region.
Currently, Inna Popov serves as the Head of the Unit for Nanocharacterization at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specifically at the Harvey Krueger Center of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
Prior to her current position, she held the role of Post-doctoral Fellow at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and worked as a Research Engineer at Donetsk Physics and Engineering Institute under the National Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
