Ingrid Teigland Akay, MD MBA is a highly accomplished businesswoman and medical professional. She holds an MBA in Finance from the London Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in German and History from the University of Oslo, and a degree in Medicine from the Medizinische Hochschule Hannover.

Dr. Akay is the founder and managing partner at Hadean Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on life sciences. She has previously served on the board of directors for Neuro Event Labs Oy, Nisonic, Attgeno AB, and Gentian Diagnostics AS. She was also a member of the VC Council of Invest Europe and the Norwegian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (NVCA).

Before her work in venture capital, Dr. Akay was a senior investment manager at Inventages Venture Capital and an associate at Morgan Stanley. She also worked as a surgical and clinical fellow at the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
