    Inge Leuverink, an expert in emergency preparedness and humanitarian aid at Cordaid, has been involved in supporting emergency response and recovery programs since 1995.

    Inge joined Cordaid in 2000 and has played a crucial role in disaster risk reduction, organizational emergency preparedness, and resilient recovery approaches.

    She developed the Resilient Recovery approach, which integrates resilience building into recovery efforts, and has trained Cordaid staff and local partners in emergency preparedness and resilient recovery.

    Since 2016, Inge has been serving as a humanitarian advisor in Cordaid's humanitarian aid unit, focusing on enhancing program quality through sharing experiences, training, facilitation, and support for organizational and program development.

    In recent years, her work has centered on developing the Protection Mainstreaming approach and Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) within Cordaid.

    Her goals encompass exploring and enhancing the connections between emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience building, with a keen interest in fostering quality and innovative approaches that empower local communities and organizations.

    Inge is dedicated to improving program quality, especially through protection mainstreaming, addressing the opportunities and challenges of Cash and Voucher programming in humanitarian aid, and fostering partnerships with national and local organizations to strengthen effective local humanitarian systems and leadership in humanitarian aid.

    She serves as the co-chair of the localisation working group of the Dutch Relief Alliance.

    Inge Leuverink holds a master's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Utrecht University.
