Indu Navar is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the Silicon Valley tech industry, where she has held various leadership roles such as CEO, founder, board member, and investor.
After a personal loss, Indu shifted her focus towards utilizing her expertise in technology and scalable platforms for patient-driven health ventures. She is the CEO and founder of the Peter Cohen Foundation, now operating as EverythingALS.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to utilizing technology for the discovery of biomarkers in neurological diseases.
Indu actively contributes to the rare disease community through her involvement as a board member of Global Genes and Answer ALS. She aims to expand the tech framework of the Peter Cohen Foundation to benefit a wider range of rare diseases.
Prior to her current ventures, Indu worked at Woodside Capital Partners, advising software companies on strategic financing transactions and M&A. She also founded and led Serus Corporation, a SaaS platform provider for companies with outsourced manufacturing, which was later acquired by E2Open.
Indu's career began with roles at NASA, Silicon Graphics, and WebMD. She holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from institutions in India and the United States and is currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience at King's College, London.
