Imre Gelens

Imre Gelens is a dedicated individual with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for off-grid renewables. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft, where he also completed his Bachelor's degree in the same field. Imre Gelens was actively involved in various roles across different organizations, including VP of Software Engineering at AMMP Technologies, Freelance IT, Data and Analytics Specialist at his own consultancy firm, Imre Gelens IT, and Technical Founder at SilkSage. Prior to these roles, he founded Blokkon.com and worked as a (Senior) Consultant in Data & Analytics at KPMG. His professional journey includes experiences as a Graduate Intern at PostNL E-Commerce Services, an Intern at HEINEKEN, and a HSE Project Analyst at Shell Global Solutions. Imre Gelens also contributed to the Science Centre TU Delft as part of the Events Team and served as an Exam Tutor at Lyceo.
