Campaigns Adviser at Unicef UK

Responsible for strengthening public engagement with Unicef UK's campaigns and advocacy work through developing effective communications and content. This is with the aim of changing public attitudes in support of the issues Unicef works on for children. Includes:
-  Sourcing and developing compelling stories and creative content to achieve campaign objectives
-  Tailoring content to key target audiences and channles
-  Reporting, measuring and evaluating campaign performance.

Part-time internal secondment
- Provide brand and creative expertise and project management to teams across UUK 
- Creative Lead for Unicef UK Carol Concert at St Paul’s Cathedral, which raised £130,000. Designed and produced tickets, programme and donation envelopes; briefed in speeches for UUK Executive Director Mike Penrose and UUK President Kirsty Young. 
- Brand and Creative Lead for #CookForSYRIA. Wrote and signed off key messages to be used with internal and external stakeholders, commissioned and produced fundraising materials, audited and updated #CookForSYRIA web content. 

Creative Manager

- Provide editorial and creative consultancy, expertise and guidance to teams to develop audience-focused digital content that fits with integrated marketing plans.
- Edit and curate Unicef UK website and organic/paid online channels with a specific focus on high-quality writing and storytelling. 
- Manage content briefs for cross-organisational projects and trips; brief, direct and project manage external media and digital agencies, creative freelancers and video editors. 
- Develop innovative creative content ideas for key target audiences. 
- Pull cross-channel reports from analytics tools and analyse the results to make informed content decisions.
- Act as key point of contact for all digital requirements of contact teams providing ongoing consultancy, highlighting opportunities, supporting planning and upskilling.  
- Develop online brand guidelines, creative style guides and digital tool training. Devise and deliver training sessions to teams across the organisation. 

Notable projects include: content lead for Syria Winter campaign (2016), integrated Nutrition campaign (Spring 2017) and Uprooted campaign (September 2017 – present); Content lead for Advocacy Safe Schools campaign (internal secondment: January - March 2016); Training lead for the Unicef UK website redevelopment project (Jan 2017 – present)

Digital Assistant

Full-time EFL Teacher at International Language School. Responsible for the independent preparation of lessons and syllabi, exam tuition and extra-curricular activity leadership. Familiar with multi-lingual classroom and professional environments, mixed age academic groups and individual tutor group guidance.

Responsible for liaising with company directors and giving advice on the operation of the school arm of the company. Post included all student admissions and level testing, independent creation of materials and syllabi, timetabling, and ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students. Extra-curricular activities included language exchanges with Spanish nationals at popular local venues.

Employed as a Primary School Language Assistant in two local schools. Levels CP - CM2 (Age 5 - 12). Responsible for preparing and carrying out lessons independently. Involved in classroom music and preparation and accompaniment for annual school choral show. Supplementary employment included English language tutoring for adults and young learners and au pairing.

Reporting Intern

Involved in planning and delivering projects with Community Arts North West's Exodus programme, which works with refugees and host communities across a range of art forms. 

Worked closely with The Beating Wing Orchestra - an eclectic music group comprising musicians from different countries - prior to performances and collaborations. Developed effective and efficient project delivery skills and was required to organise rehearsal spaces, ensure that rehearsals ran to schedule and provide general administrative support to the group.
