Ilon Weeldreyer

Ilon Weeldreyer is a skilled manager known for being a clear communicator and delivering polished outcomes.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Administration and Supervision with a focus on Leadership, Foundations, and Policy from the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia.

In addition to his doctoral education, Ilon has a Master of Music in Music Education from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Western Michigan University.

Professionally, he has held various roles at Merkle, including Associate Director of Performance Media, Senior Manager of Media Services, Manager of Media Services, and Associate Manager of Media Services.

Prior to his time at Merkle, Ilon worked as the Production Manager for the Charlottesville Symphony at the University of Virginia and held positions such as Senior Specialist, Project Lead, and Program Coordinator/Assistant at the University of Virginia.

He also has experience in the education sector, having served as the Director of Music at Fluvanna County Public Schools, Percussion Director at the University of Virginia, and Music Software and Technology/University Bands Graduate Teaching Assistant at James Madison University.
