Ilana Lipsett is an accomplished professional with a passion for community engagement, social justice, and entrepreneurship. With a Bachelor of Arts in History and French Literature from UC San Diego and a Master of Business Administration in Management from Presidio Graduate School, Ilana has developed a versatile skill set that has allowed her to thrive in a variety of roles in the non-profit, private, and public sectors.

As a former participant in the 2018 Emerge California program, Ilana honed her political skills and developed a deep understanding of the importance of women's leadership. She has also worked as the Impact and Engagement Manager at Tidewater Capital, where she managed investor partnerships and community outreach initiatives. In addition, Ilana has co-founded several organizations, including The Blueprint Oakland, [freespace], and ChefRoulette, and has worked as a consultant for the Northern California Community Loan Fund.

Ilana's commitment to community building is further reflected in her role as Culture Curator and Community Manager at The Hall, where she orchestrated events that brought people from diverse backgrounds together to celebrate culture, food, and music. She has also played an instrumental role in promoting policies that support employment justice and workers' rights, including as Lead Organizer and Policy Advocate at Employment Justice Center and Political Director, Capital Area District at SEIU Local 32BJ.
