Ikram Jaffer is a seasoned private equity professional with a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in finance and investments, covering diverse sectors and geographies.

Before his tenure at Premji Invest, Ikram co-founded CashCare, a pioneering data-driven consumer lending solution in India, where he served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). His pivotal role in driving growth, securing funding, and ultimately overseeing the acquisition of CashCare by EarlySalary, a prominent digital salary advance platform, underscores his strategic acumen.

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Ikram also held the positions of Partner and CEO at a manufacturing business, contributing significantly to its turnaround and expansion strategies. Complementing his operational experience, he actively engages as an angel investor and advisor to startups, aiming to channel his expertise and extensive network towards fostering innovative and impactful ventures.

Ikram Jaffer pursued his academic journey by earning a B.S. in Business with a specialization in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from Bangalore University.
