My first job that wasn't washing dishes was as an on-air announcer at @wvpe in Elkhart, Indiana. I was sixteen, had to drive 45 minutes and made less money than washing dishes but I was in heaven - - surrounded by vinyl and "in the music business" (to me, at least).
But the holidays were always painful, the same trite songs over and over... As a lover of always newer and more challenging music, the Season of Covers is my least favorite.
But it's unavoidable, so I made a playlist of the least terrible Christmas and Holiday music I could find. When someone insists on holiday music put this on shuffle. No holiday music is "good" but you won't hate this collection.
