Ian Jones

Ian Jones is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in sales, marketing, senior management, entrepreneurship, and non-profit work.

With over three decades of experience in retail systems, ten of which were in international management roles in Asia Pacific, Ian has a strong track record of success.

Ian's entrepreneurial spirit led him to spend ten years in Shenzhen, China, where he established and operated various businesses, including bars, restaurants, a real estate/relocation business, and more.

Returning to Burnie in 2012, Ian shifted towards semi-retirement and continued his business ventures by investing in an FFE solutions company, Recosine, alongside his wife.

Recosine has since pivoted its focus to PPE supplies for the healthcare market, leveraging Ian's expertise in sourcing, international logistics, and local manufacturing.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Ian devotes time to managing a 100-acre farm and contributing to non-profit organizations like Business Northwest and the local RSL club.

Throughout his career, Ian has demonstrated exceptional account management, solution development, strategic planning, and sales team leadership skills.

He has held various key roles, including President at Business Northwest, Managing Director at Chinamax Overseas Ltd, and President at the Burnie Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
