Ian Felix, a seasoned commercialization expert with over 40 years of experience, has played a significant role in building, strengthening, and leading corporate commercialization functions in start-ups to large-sized businesses. His expertise in product design, engineering, management, manufacturing, quality, regulatory compliance, training, support, and cloud delivery service model has made him stand apart from others in the industry. With his entrepreneurial spirit, Ian is a passionate individual when it comes to delivering on-time, on-budget projects and customers' satisfaction. He has been part of the executive team of five start-ups, out of which four of them were acquired for more than $300M.
Ian Felix has extensive experience taking IT and medical products from pilot to high volume manufacturing, ranging from electronics, mechanics, software that have gone into medical devices, robotic equipment, computers and peripherals. He has expertise in implementing adaptable and regulatory manufacturing strategies to address growth, improve costs while maintaining the highest quality. Over the years, he has organized management teams for both start-ups and mature operations focused on manufacturing in $1M to $100B organizations. He has developed production lines for both low and high-volume manufacturing; both domestic and offshore. He has a regulatory approval experience of filing multiple FDA 510k submissions and managing FDA and customer audits. Ian is known for his pioneering low and high-cost manufacturing for high-volume low-cost devices and high-cost low-volume capital equipment in the industry.
