Ian Dapot is a seasoned designer with expertise in retail, fashion, financial services, healthcare, and consumer goods. With a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from Yale University, Ian has over the years facilitated the creation of new brand platforms, products, and services for companies. He has worked at top-tier organizations like Google, Strava, IDEO, and Sub Rosa, where he has held innovative positions such as Creative Director, Design Director, and Communication Design Lead, contributing his expertise to design strategy, experience design, brand strategy, and graphic design.
Ian is passionate about design thinking, design process, and collaboration, which has earned him invitations to speak and lecture at the AIGA, RGD, ULI, and several colleges and universities. As a believer in the relationships between makers and audiences, Ian's thesis at Yale University focused on the unintended and unforeseen interpretation of designs by users.
