Ian Cinnamon

Ian Cinnamon is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Apex, a pioneering spacecraft manufacturer that specializes in productized and configurable satellite bus platforms. Under his leadership, Apex aims to meet the growing demands of the space industry, providing scalable solutions for both commercial and government sectors. The company has successfully raised over $50 million from notable investors, including Andreessen Horowitz and Shield Capital.13

Before founding Apex, Ian established Synapse Technology Corporation, which focused on artificial intelligence applications for security and defense. This company was later acquired by Palantir Technologies, where he played a significant role in leveraging AI for satellite systems, resulting in substantial government contracts.12 Ian also co-founded Superlabs, which was sold to Zynga, where he served as Director of Product.2

Ian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has been recognized as a Forbes "30 Under 30" honoree and is an alumnus of Y Combinator.12
