Ian Buckley
Product Designer with a background in equity and industrial design (he/him)
Ian Buckley is a designer with a background transitioning from physical to digital mediums, emphasizing user-centered design and catering to both functional and emotional user needs.
Prior to delving into the world of design, Ian pursued a Gender Studies degree with intentions of further education in counseling but found his passion in design after a one-year design course.
Ian values the fusion of human stories and aesthetic appeal in his design work, believing that good design is paramount for quality living experiences.
His educational background includes a Diploma Candidate in User Experience Design from BrainStation, a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Product Design from Humber College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies from Queen's University.
Ian has worked as a Product Designer at Freddie, as well as held various design roles at organizations like Freelance, BrainStation, Fig40, COFO Design Inc, and Humber College.
He has also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant in User Experience Design, an Industrial Designer, a Furniture Designer, a Junior Designer, a Prototyping Lab Technician, and a Design Intern.
