Ian Atkinson, SVP Game Partnerships at ESL FACEIT Group

Ian Atkinson is currently serving as the SVP Game Partnerships at ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), a position he started in January 2023.2 Prior to this, he held the role of SVP Publisher Relations at ESL Gaming.1

In his previous role, Atkinson was instrumental in developing a partnership between DreamHack and Wizards of the Coast to advance the popular tabletop game Magic: The Gathering at all U.S. DreamHack festivals.1 He emphasized the importance of developing the tabletop gaming ecosystem and building a strong Magic community through DreamHack.1

Atkinson has a diverse work experience across various industries and is known for his expertise in business development, partnerships, cloud go-to-market strategies, and channel program & ecosystem development.3 He has been involved with DreamHack festivals and FACEIT Labs in the past.3
