Iain Morris

Iain Morris is a seasoned Company Director, Investor, and Operating Partner with a strong background in M&A, Restructuring, and Advisory. Over the past 18 years, he has been actively involved in various companies, leveraging technology to drive innovation and enhance customer experiences.

Currently, Iain holds multiple key positions, such as Managing Director and co-founder of Alpin Group, Director at SRO Technology Pty Limited, Director at CIC Technology Pty Limited, Director at Reino International Pty Limited (Duncan Solutions Australia), Director at Ptronik Pry Limited, Director at Alpin Advisory Pty Limited, Director at Alpin Energy Pty Limited (Alpin Power), and Director at Attunga Ski Club Limited.

His expertise spans across different sectors including government services, infrastructure, property, travel and leisure services, pharmaceuticals, child-care centers, food manufacturing, and wholesale food. Iain has a strong financial background, having led the PwC Services and Industrials sector deals team from 2011 to 2014. He is well-versed in vendor and buy-side lead advisory, specializing in commercial and financial due diligence for corporates, private equity, bank investigations, refinancing, and formal insolvency.

In terms of qualifications, Iain Morris is a member of the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO), a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a graduate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), a graduate of the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association, and holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) from the Australian National University.

Education-wise, Iain studied B.Ec B.Comm in Economics and Commerce at The Australian National University, and pursued further studies at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He also completed his Higher School Certificate at Canberra Grammar School and attained his CA in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
