Iain Kennedy

Iain Kennedy is the Head of Global Sales at StarCompliance, a role he has held since February 2022. Based in New York, he is recognized as a dynamic leader in the FinTech and capital markets sectors, with extensive experience in sales, marketing, relationship management, and client engagement. His career spans multiple regions, including the US, EMEA, and APAC, allowing him to develop a global perspective on business operations.

Kennedy has a proven track record in driving revenue and customer acquisition through a hands-on leadership style. He emphasizes mentoring and developing talent within his teams and has expertise across various asset classes, including Fixed Income, Convertibles, Equities, Loans, and Municipals. Prior to his current position, he held senior roles at IHS Markit, including Global Head of GMG Sales and Executive Director of Global Buy-Side Sales, where he was instrumental in establishing leading platforms for primary market solutions.1

He holds a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol and has studied at the University of Oxford.1
