Iain Dey

Iain Dey is a seasoned journalist and managing director at Edelman Smithfield, a financial communications firm in London. Prior to joining Edelman Smithfield, Dey spent 18 years working as a journalist, with more than a decade of his career spent at The Sunday Times, where he was named UK Business Journalist of the Year in 2010 for his coverage of the financial crisis. Dey's areas of expertise include financial services, asset management, banking, insurance, pensions, and private capital. He also has extensive experience in providing strategic communications advice to companies in sectors such as real estate, consumer, professional services, leisure, media, healthcare, and technology. Additionally, Dey has worked on high-profile investigations, covered political issues and cultural movements, and authored a book. Dey holds a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of St. Andrews.
