With a strong background in Distributed Systems, Cloud Infrastructures, and Computer Science, Hylke holds distinguished Master of Science degrees from Aalto University and Université de Rennes I, along with a Bachelor of Science from Delft University of Technology.

Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at The Things Industries, Hylke's expertise spans programming languages like Go, interaction with SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud infrastructure management using tools like Terraform, deployment of applications on various platforms like Docker Swarm, AWS ECS, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, and Google Cloud Functions.

Additionally, Hylke has experience working with pub/sub systems such as MQTT, AMQP, NATS, and cloud-specific pub/sub systems, showcasing versatility in cloud technologies.
