Huy V. holds a PhD in Computer Science from Oxford University and an MSc in Applied Statistics from Birkbeck College, University of London. With a strong academic background, he has accumulated extensive experience in the financial industry, working for top investment firms since 2012.

Huy's career journey includes a stint as a postdoctoral researcher at the Statistics Department at Oxford University before transitioning to financial data analysis. Currently, he leads a team in developing and managing advanced systematic data loading and analysis platforms.

His diverse skill set encompasses software development, project management, team leadership, machine learning, neural networks, deep learning, NLP, and data mining. Additionally, he is proficient in statistical analysis, Bayesian methods, quantitative research in equities, FX, fixed income, and indices.

Furthermore, Huy is well-versed in handling financial data and market information, including high-frequency tick data, KDB+/q, daily data, reference data, and security master details. He is also adept in various data technologies such as SQL, XML, RDF, Graph, JSON, MongoDB, Neo4j, and Redis.

Huy is fluent in multiple programming languages like Scala, Python, q, Java, C++, C#, Haskell, and Go, and has expertise in distributed systems, cloud computing, Mesos, and AWS.
