Hunter Gary

Hunter Gary is a Senior Managing Director at Icahn Enterprises, where he oversees portfolio company operations, implementing operational value enhancement across diverse business segments. Hunter's extensive experience in private equity investment oversight includes a rich history of executive leadership roles in notable companies. Before joining Icahn, Hunter was the Chief Operating Officer of Icahn Sourcing LLC, and a Managing Director for Kaufhof Warenhaus AG, a former subsidiary of the Metro Group.

Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Policy, a Bachelor of Arts in German, and a Certificate in Executive Development from the Columbia Business School. Additionally, he completed post-graduate continuing studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Throughout his career, Hunter has served on the boards of multiple public and private companies, including VIVUS, Inc., Conduent, CVR Energy, Inc., Pep Boys, and others. He has also held executive positions at Cadus Corporation and Icahn Associates, where he led procurement, strategic projects, and innovations management.
