Hung Phan

Hung Phan is a successful entrepreneur and business strategist with an impressive academic background. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Management Consulting from the reputable University at Buffalo. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the same institution.

Hung has amassed a wealth of experience in various fields, including insurtech, corporate strategy, investment banking, and relationship management. He is a Co-Founder and CEO of PAPAYA Insurtech, a company pioneering an innovative approach to insurance coverage. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Hung held several management positions at Grab, FWD Insurance, and Citi. As a Business PMO/Country Lead for GrabKiosk, he oversaw the development and launch of hundreds of GrabKiosks across Vietnam. At FWD Insurance and Citi, he was a Corporate Strategy Manager and a Relationship Associate Head, respectively.

Hung is also dedicated to personal and professional growth. As a Management Associate in Corporate and Investment Banking, he honed his financial acumen and acquired comprehensive knowledge of investment management. Additionally, he interned as an Investment Analyst at VinaCapital, an asset management company.
