As a Research Assistant at the Columbia-WHO Center for Global Mental Health, Huma worked on projects related to global mental health from June 2021 to June 2023.3 During her time there, she contributed to research on trauma in adolescent populations in Mozambique, working with Dr. Kate Lovero.1 Specifically, she assisted with a literature review and manuscript preparation for a study investigating the impact of potentially traumatic events on adolescents' mental health.1
