Hugo Bowne-Anderson is a highly skilled data scientist, writer, and educator with a passion for promoting data literacy, fluency, and AI. He is currently employed at DataCamp, a leading data science training company that has educated over three million learners worldwide. Hugo has spearheaded the development of more than 25 courses impacting over 170,000 learners worldwide through his courses in DataCamp's Python curriculum. Before joining DataCamp, Hugo earned his PhD in Mathematics from the University of New South Wales in Australia. He also conducted biomedical research at the Max Planck Institute in Germany and Yale University in New Haven. Hugo is a proficient communicator, evidenced by his long-format interviews with working data scientists as host and producer of the popular podcast DataFramed. Besides data and AI, Hugo has a keen interest in stand-up comedy in NYC.
