Hugh Weber

Hugh Weber is a highly accomplished senior executive, strategist, network theorist, and community organizer who has more than a decade of experience leading political campaigns and advising established leaders across a diverse range of industries. He has worked with businesses, governments, design agencies, media companies, and community organizations, helping them navigate uncertainty, build meaningful relationships, and create social impact.

Hugh has a Master of Arts degree in Campaign Management from The George Washington University, where he honed his skills in strategic message development, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and political analysis. He also studied ideation, rapid prototyping, and iterating for desirability, feasibility, and viability at IDEO U, a leading design and innovation firm.

In addition to his academic achievements, Hugh has held several leadership positions in various organizations. He was the Former Managing Director and Guide at the Institute of Possibility, where he helped individuals and teams unlock their potential and achieve their goals. He was also the Former Managing Director at The Great Discontent and Design Observer, two media companies focused on showcasing emerging artists and fostering creative communities worldwide. Moreover, he was a Formerly Advisory Committee member at Design for America, a network of campus studios that aims to create social impact using design methodology.

Hugh is a former Board of Director and Executive Committee member of AIGA Design, a professional organization for design, where he played a key role in shaping the direction of the design industry. He is also a former Co-President of AIGA South Dakota, where he worked closely with designers, artists, educators, and business leaders to foster a thriving creative community. In addition, he has founded several organizations, including OTA, a cultural organization that brings together creative disciplines across North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota, and The Bubble Parade, an annual event celebrating joy, creativity, and togetherness.
